In october, TING is released, a melancholic and experimental album, which is focused on the interaction between two pianos and a classic percussion.
This album features Martin Bakker (bass) and Peter Meuris (percussion, violin, formerly of the Tapes). "Soap Bubble Box" is a small success.
For the Veronica broadcasting company, Robert-Jan Stips writes (most of) the symphonic composion Hjuvi, A Rhapsody In Time. In june, Nits and the Radio Symphonic Orchestra with conductor Jan Stulen play Hjuvi twice in the Amsterdam Concertgebouw. The recording is broadcasted on TV and released on CD.
