There's a lot of innovation going on in the area of all kinds of multimedial developments. Sony for example recently launched the Super-Audio CD (contains all kinds of different data), theres DVD , and the distribution of audio via the WWW. What place do you see for The NITS in all this, do you embrace these kinds of developments and are you free to use any of the NITS material for this kind of tools when you ant to, Or is the material The NITS made owned by record companies ?. If so, do you have any visions of your own label/record company or distribution methods via the WWW in the (near)future ?. All the best for you, greetings for everyone of the NITS family.

Colombia owns all our 'old' material, so this could be a problem. We own the new material so we can do anything we want with it , and we will! We like the modern world and we will use it.

In "Night falls" (Ting), Henks sings about a man who's "counting all the ducks and swans". Is it about ornithologic countings for wintering birds on european lakes? Did Henk see those men acting? Did he the same?

For the Hjuvi booklet I have made some computer drawings (kid pix) inspired by the view of the park in front of my house. There's a small pond with a lot of ducks. Of course, I've never counted them and the swans are only there in my mind.

(Why don't you play Strawberry Girl live, many people (including myself) consider it the best Nits-song of the last 10 years. Does it have to do with the low notes? In Haarlem I noticed that it gave you some problems.)

Strawberry Girl is opgenomen op een lome zomerdag. De dag begon met een lange wandeling in de omgeving van de studio met een fotograaf. we zochten lokaties en maakten een paar foto's -o.a. de foto met de eendjes en de band tussen het riet. De 'groove' van zo lui en zeldzaam dat het moeilijk is om die weer terug te halen. We zullen het blijven proberen. Wacht tot het voorjaar en de zomer, dan zit-ie goed.
